The Moose Art Adventure
Art Walks in Woodland Park have become a lively First Friday tradition, bringing art and community together throughout downtown. Originally started in 2020 to support local artists and businesses during the COVID-19 shutdowns, the event has grown into a monthly celebration featuring themed exhibitions and engaging activities. Participants explore work displayed in multiple venues — including galleries and downtown businesses — meet artists, enjoy refreshments, and take part in specials or demonstrations along the way.
Since joining the broader First Friday art movement in October 2025, Woodland Park’s Art Walk includes themed artwork, an “Art Passport” game with quarterly drawings, and shuttle service to help visitors visit participating locations easily. With live music, unique displays, and plenty of reasons to explore, it’s become a standout community event each month.
During The Moose Is Loose sales event, the Art Walk adds another creative dimension to the festivities. Moose Is Loose encourages locals and visitors to take in the art walk as part of the celebration, combining shopping, art, and community engagement in one experience. Whether you’re completing your Art Passport, enjoying themed artwork, or taking advantage of the specials and demonstrations offered by local businesses and artists, the Art Walk brings the town to life in support of both the arts and the local economy.
